Join us for a powerful evening at Sunset Cliffs honoring the Winter Solstice, the turning point of the year when we transition from darkness back toward the light. This seasonal gathering invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and create space for clarity and renewal through a mindful blend of movement, reflection, and sound.
This class is guided by Katie Rose (Owner of Yoga In Beautiful Places) M.A.Ed., RYT-500, SUP Yoga, Sound Healing + Meditation.
✨ What to Expect
We’ll begin with a Sun Salutation practice, moving through a rhythmic sequence of 36–54 salutations designed to warm the body, focus the mind, and awaken your inner fire. Each repetition serves as a moving meditation, helping you release built-up tension and restore balance as the sun sets.
Following the flow, we’ll shift into a Fire Release Ceremony, a reflective practice symbolizing transformation. You’ll be guided to pause, journal, or simply reflect on what you’d like to release from the past year; old patterns, habits, or thoughts that no longer serve your growth. As the fire burns, it becomes a visual reminder of renewal and the cyclical nature of change.
The evening concludes with a deeply restorative Sound Bath, allowing your body and mind to settle into stillness. Immersed in the tones of crystal bowls, chimes, and grounding vibrations, you’ll rest in the quiet energy of the season; calm, centered, and open to the light returning within and around you.

✨ What to Bring:
Yoga mat and towel for underneath your mat (optional, the cliffs can get dusty)
Blankets, pillows, or bolsters (anything to help you feel comfortable on the earth)
Layers of clothing — it can get chilly as the sun sets
Eye pillow or mask for relaxation

An open heart and willingness to release
